ASB or Always Show Battery, is a jailbreak tweak that aims at targeting a specific demographic of jailbreakers. You know who you are; you're the same.

It never fails; no matter how small or insignificant the tweak is, I always have at least one person ask me how it impacts the lifespan of their battery.
ASB is a simple tweak; it makes the battery on your iPhone?s lock screen always appear, regardless of whether or not your iPhone is plugged into a power source.
Apparently, this tweak is actually fooling your iPhone into thinking it?s plugged into a power source. As a result, the status bar shows the ?battery plugged in? display instead of your normal battery percentage.
Other than that, if you?re one of the aforementioned battery watchmen, it?s hard to go wrong with ASB. It?s a free Tweak on Cydia, and a part of the TweakWeek series of tweaks.
I knew someone would ask ?how does this impact battery life? hahaha. Truth is it shouldn?t at all cus there is nothing at all running in the background.
Does springtomoze not already do this? Has to be the best set fo tweaks there is that, seems lately a lot of tweaks have been released that can be achieved all in 1 place and for me, who is super anal about installing loads of different things lol it?s a must !
This is another stupid and useless tweak. With the battery ?battery percentage? on you have a much accurate reading. You should use your lockscreen for more useful and better tweaks but I know there is always an idiot around.
I modded my battery display to be the Aperture logo from Portal, which fills in and gets brighter as the battery charges. I would use this tweak because MY battery screen looks badass.
